  • Erika’s excellence at PT stems from her empathy as a person. Her bedside manner is extremely comforting as a patient who has been to over 6+ PT’s for chronic neck, back, and shoulder pain for over 8 years. She takes the time to really listen to you, respects your boundaries, and tailors each session to each patient’s unique pain or injury profile. Unlike other PT’s I have been to, she doesn’t teach me an exercise and then leave, but rather she watches my mobility, range of motion, and ease of movement and provides feedback and adjustments based on how my body is functioning in real time. Another distinguishing factor about Dr. Martin’s PT services is her compassion and ability to understand psychosomatic pain, and the interconnectivity of mental health and physical health.

    Erika’s dry needling has really helped my chronic neck and shoulder pain. She is able to easily find trigger points that are the most irritating to me. She also uses a variety of techniques depending on the level and type of pain I am experiencing. She is great not only at dry needling, but manual manipulation, cupping, massage, and stretching techniques. Thank you SO much Erika for your amazing PT services and for helping me with my chronic pain!

  • Dr. Martin has treated me on several occasions for different sports related injuries related to my calves, quads, hamstrings, low and upper back. Every time I have seen her she has been highly professional, attentive and compassionate. Her treatment plans are very intuitive and effective. She also takes the time to explain the rational behind each of her treatments. By the end of her sessions I feel a significant difference, and have the knowledge to help prevent the same injuries from reoccurring.

  • I came to see Erika 6 months after tearing my Achilles tendon. After 4 months at a regular PT clinic I was still having chronic pain, poor range of motion and flexibility, and I was nowhere near ready to try and start regaining any fitness. With just a couple needling sessions my pain was gone and immediately my range of motion improved. Erika was able to identify my key areas of weakness and she developed targeted exercises for those areas. After 10 weeks I was running, lifting and living a near normal fitness life. Erika's skills with a needle and knowledge of sports and mechanics completely changed my recovery from an Achilles rupture. I can't recommend her enough, not only for her therapeutic skills, but for her patience, care and friendliness.
